Section 30: Rights of sub-tenant on extinction of tenant‟s interest.

(1) Subjects to the provisions of sub-section (2), the extinction of the interest of a tenant shall operate to extinguish the interest of any sub-tenant holding under him.

(2) When the right of a tenant in any land is extinguished under the provisions of clause (g) of section 28 the sub-tenant, if any, of such land shall become a hereditary tenant.
