Section 1 — Short title and extent.
(1) This Act may be called the Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act, 1958. (2) It extends to the whole of the States of 2[3[Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland and Tripura]].
