Section 6: Jurisdiction.

(1) The jurisdiction of the University shall extend to the Cachar, Karimganj, North Cachar Hills, Karbi Anglong and Hailakandi Districts of the State of Assam.]

(2) On and from the commencement of this Act, all Colleges situated in the districts of Cachar, Karimganj, North Cachar Hills , Karbi Anglong and Hailkandi shall stand affiliated to the University. [Omitted]
