Section 11: The Academic Council.

(1) The Academic Council shall be the academic body of the University and, subject to the Act, the Statutes and Ordinances shall have [Omitted] charge of the organization of] study and research in the University and the Colleges, the courses of study and the examination [Omitted] of students and the conferment of ordinary and honorary degrees and shall exercise such other powers and perform such other duties as may be conferred or imposed on it by the Statutes and Ordinances, and shall have the right to advise the Executive Council on all academic matters.
