Section 1 — Short title, extent, application and commencement.
(1) This Act may be called the Enemy Property Act, 1968.
(2) It extends to the whole of India [Omitted] and it applies also to all citizens of India outside India and to branches and agencies outside India of companies or bodies corporate registered or incorporated in India.
(3) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 10th day of July, 1968.
