PRELIMINARY
Section 1 — Short title, extent and commencement.
(1) This Act may be called the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970.
(2) It extends to the whole of India.
(3) It shall come into force in a State on such date1as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint in this behalf for such State, and different datesmay be appointed for different States and for different provisions of this Act.
