Section 1 — Short title.

This Act may be called the [Omitted] Majority Act, 1875. Local extent. — It extends to the whole of India 6[except the State of Jammu and Kashmir]. Commencement and operation. —and it shall come into force and have effect only on the expiration of three months from the passing thereof.
