Section 283: Countries to which Load Line Convention or Safety Convention applies.

(a) that the Government of any country has accepted or denounced the Load Line Convention or, as the case may be, the Safety Convention; or

(b) that the Load Line Convention or, as the case may be, the Safety Convention extends, or has ceased to extend to any territory; may, by notification in the Official Gazette, make a declaration to that effect. [Omitted]
