ESTABLISHMENT OF THE STATES OF MANIPUR AND TRIPURA AND FORMATION OF THE STATE OF MEGHALAYA AND OF THE UNION TERRITORIES OF MIZORAM AND ARUNACHAL PRADESH
Section 4: Establishment of the State of Tripura.
On and from the appointed day there shall be established a new State, to be known as the State of Tripura, comprising the territories which immediately before that day were comprised in the Union territory of Tripura.
