PRELIMINARY
Section 1 — Short title, extent and commencement.
(1) This Act may be called the Road Transport Corporations Act, 1950.
(2) It extends to the whole of India [Omitted] : Provided that on and from the commencement of the Delhi Road Transport Laws (Amendment) Act, 1971, this Act, as amended by the said Act, shall extend to, and be in force in, the Union territory of Delhi: Provided further that on and from the commencement of the Road Transport Corporations (Amendment) Act, 1982, this Act, as amended by the said Act, shall extend to the Union territory of Mizoram.
