The SUGAR-CANE ACT, 1934

Sections

Section 1 — Short title, extent and commencement.

(1) This Act may be called the Sugar-cane Act, 1934. (2) It extends to the whole of India, except the 3[territories which, immediately before the 1st November, 1956, were comprised in Part B States.]

(3) This section shall come into force at once; the remaining sections of this Act shall come into force in any State on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint in that behalf.
