1. Who We Are
NyayX is a product of Zevnix AI Private Limited (CIN: U62013UP2025PTC228705 · GSTIN: 09AACCZ6939J1ZM), a company incorporated under the Companies Act 2013 in India ("Zevnix AI", "we", "us", or "our"). Zevnix AI operates the NyayX platform — a legal practice management application for Indian advocates. Our registered address is A-75, Sector B-5/6, TDS City, Loni, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh – 201102, India.
2. Data We Collect
We collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, phone number, and bar council details when you register. We collect case data you enter: case names, parties, hearing dates, documents, and notes. We collect usage data: pages visited, features used, and device information for improving the platform. We do not collect sensitive personal data unless it is incidental to a case file you upload.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to provide and improve the NyayX platform, to send hearing reminders and cause list alerts via WhatsApp or email, to respond to support requests, and to comply with applicable law. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your case data to train AI models or provide analytics to any external party.
4. Data Storage and Security
All data is stored on AWS Mumbai (ap-south-1) servers located in India. Data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 and in transit using TLS 1.3. Access to your data is restricted to authorised NyayX personnel on a need-to-know basis. We conduct regular security audits and penetration testing.
5. Data Residency
Your data never leaves India. We do not transfer personal data to any country outside India. All sub-processors we use (including AWS and WhatsApp Business API) are configured to keep your data within Indian jurisdictions where technically possible.
6. WhatsApp Integration
If you use our WhatsApp integration, your phone number is shared with Meta Platforms Ireland Limited solely for the purpose of delivering messages through the WhatsApp Business API. We do not share case content with Meta. WhatsApp messages are end-to-end encrypted in transit.
7. Your Rights under DPDP Act 2023
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, you have the right to access, correct, and erase your personal data. You may withdraw consent for data processing at any time by contacting us. You may nominate a representative to exercise your rights on your behalf. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@nyayx.com.
8. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, we retain a copy of your data for 30 days to allow you to download it. After 30 days, all personal data is permanently and irreversibly deleted from our servers and backups.
9. Cookies
We use essential cookies only — for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser, though this may affect platform functionality.
10. Changes to This Policy
We will notify you by email and in-app notification at least 14 days before making material changes to this Privacy Policy. Continued use of NyayX after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
