Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, paying a subscription fee, or using the NyayX platform, you warrant that you are a licensed legal professional or an authorised representative of a law firm/entity, and you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use NyayX. NyayX is a product operated by Zevnix AI Private Limited (CIN: U62013UP2025PTC228705), a company incorporated under the Companies Act 2013 in India ("Zevnix AI", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms constitute a binding agreement between you and Zevnix AI Private Limited.
2. The Service and Subscription Fee Model
NyayX is a proprietary software-infrastructure utility providing a legal practice management platform for Indian advocates, including case tracking, hearing calendar management, document storage, and e-Courts integration. Your subscription fee is solely for the licence to use our software features, case-diary modules, document management systems, and cloud storage facilities. The fee is not a charge for data collected from the e-Courts website or other government portals; public-domain data tracking is provided merely as a complimentary integration to the core software utility. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice.
3. Eligibility
NyayX is designed for licensed advocates enrolled with a State Bar Council in India. By using NyayX, you represent that you are a legal professional or their authorised staff member. NyayX may not be used by minors.
4. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@nyayx.com if you suspect unauthorised access. You may not transfer your account to another person.
5. Subscriptions and Billing
NyayX is a subscription service billed monthly or annually. Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR). You authorise us to charge your payment method at the start of each billing period. Failure to pay may result in suspension of your account. GST is charged at applicable rates.
6. Free Trial
New accounts receive a 7-day free trial. No payment information is required to start the trial. At the end of the trial, the account will be downgraded to read-only access unless a subscription is activated. Trial data is preserved for 30 days after trial expiry.
7. Acceptable Use
You may use NyayX only for lawful purposes relating to the practice of law. You may not: use NyayX to store content that is illegal under Indian law; upload any malicious code, virus, or material that violates the Information Technology Act, 2000, or any other prevailing Indian law; attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape the platform; share your account credentials with unauthorised persons; or use NyayX to harass, defraud, or harm any individual.
8. e-Courts Data — Accuracy and Disclaimer
The Platform synchronises data from public e-Courts portals on an "as is" basis. We do not edit, modify, or independently verify this information. We are not responsible or liable for any wrong, delayed, corrupted, outdated, or missing data displayed on the Platform where such errors originate from the e-Courts portal, or arise due to network latency, server downtime, or changes in the government portal's architecture. Advocates are strongly advised to independently verify all critical court dates and orders directly from the official court diaries or cause lists. Missing a limitation date or court hearing due to a software sync error shall not make us liable for any professional negligence or damages.
9. Your Data and Client-Data Responsibility
You retain full ownership of all data you enter into NyayX. NyayX does not claim any rights over, and does not draw, solicit, or control, your case data, client information, or documents — you have absolute administrative control over what client data is stored. You warrant that you have obtained all necessary consents and authorisations from your clients to fetch, manage, and store their data using our software, and you remain responsible for ensuring the legal compliance of that data. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle data. On account deletion, you may download your data within 30 days.
10. Intellectual Property
All software code, user-interface designs, logos, mobile-application architecture, and proprietary algorithms are the exclusive intellectual property of Zevnix AI Private Limited. Your subscription grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the software during your active subscription period only. You shall not reverse-engineer, copy, or replicate our software.
11. Limitation of Liability
NyayX is provided "as is". We do not warrant that e-Courts data is accurate, complete, or current; it syncs with third-party government data sources. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Zevnix AI, its directors, employees, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or professional liability claims — arising out of your use of or inability to use the Platform, errors or discrepancies in data pulled from public court websites, or any unauthorised access, hacking, or alteration of your uploaded data (unless caused by our gross negligence). Our total liability for any claim is strictly capped at the subscription amount paid by you in the three (3) months preceding the claim. We are not liable for missed hearings, filing deadlines, or case outcomes.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Zevnix AI Private Limited, its developers, and operators from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and costs (including legal fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms, your misuse of client data, or your professional misconduct.
13. Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time from the billing section. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. NyayX may terminate accounts that violate these Terms with 7 days' notice, or immediately for serious violations.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and the accompanying Privacy Policy are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. For consumer disputes, the applicable consumer forum jurisdiction applies.
15. Changes to Terms
We will notify you by email at least 14 days before making material changes to these Terms. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
