The Supreme Court cause list,
filtered to your matters.
The registry publishes multiple courts each sitting day. NyayX keeps the board, then WhatsApps you only when your SLP, writ, or appeal is actually listed.

How do I check the Supreme Court cause list for today?
The Supreme Court publishes a separate cause list for each court sitting that day, usually the evening before and again if the board is revised. Open the cause list section on sci.gov.in, pick the date, then open each court PDF or HTML list. Search inside the file for your diary number or the converted case number. Miscellaneous lists (mentions, after-notice, fresh matters) are not the same as the regular hearing list: an item on miscellaneous may take two minutes and may not be called if the board is heavy. Court numbers move. Confirm both the court and the item number on the morning list before you leave chambers. NyayX reads those lists on each sync and shows only the items that match cases in your diary.
What the SCI cause list actually tells you.
The file is long because it is the whole court. You only need four fields.
Step 1
Date and sitting
Confirm you have today's list, not yesterday's revised file. A matter deleted in the morning revision will still sit on last night's PDF.
Step 2
Court number and coram
The heading names the judges. If your matter moved courts overnight, the old court PDF will not mention you. NyayX follows the move when the new list is published.
Step 3
Item number
This is the position on that court's board. It is what the court master calls. Put it on the reminder, not only the case number.
Step 4
Case type line
SLP (C), SLP (Crl), W.P. (C), and so on. If you search only by the numeric part you will hit other years. Pair type, number, and year, or search the diary number for fresh filings.
Supreme Court cause list questions
- When is the Supreme Court cause list published?
- Usually the evening before the sitting, with revisions through the morning. Do not treat last night's file as final until you have checked for a deletion or a court change.
- Is the Supreme Court cause list on eCourts?
- No. SCI lists live on the SCI portal. Delhi High Court lists are a different board: see the Delhi High Court cause list. Case status (pending or disposed) is a separate lookup.
- Can NyayX send the Supreme Court cause list on WhatsApp?
- NyayX sends a WhatsApp when one of your added SCI cases is listed, with court and item where the list carries them. It does not dump the entire all-courts PDF. Product detail is on NyayX for Supreme Court advocates.
